The Metro Apartments

A project which has taken nearly two years and over 10,000 man hours to complete wrapped up this month. 15 new homes were restored and handed back to the local community. Having completed over 4,000 earthquake repairs in the city, the owners turned to Buildtech to see if this old lady could be saved. The project delivery team lead by Martin Potts and Andrea Fridd together with the rest of the Buildtech team and its supply partners, worked tirelessly to see this grand piece of architecture fully restored to modern building standards. A testimony to the fact restoring communities involves respecting our heritage while at the same time embracing the future.
